While small children await impatiently the arrival of that jolly old elf, St Nick, in the spirit of the season, let us explore the Nemesia Elph series.

Most people like this series for its cascading habit in hanging baskets, and with its plain and unusual flower coloration, it is well-suited to that purpose. I happen to love them for their heavenly scent (although some varieties are stronger than others) and highly recommend placing a hanging basket by your door so that you too can enjoy it as frequently as possible.

A planter or basket, with slow release fertilizer and kept on the dry side, will reward you with blooms all summer long. This Nemesia series mixes well with begonias, impatiens, juncus, pansies, almost anything!
